Transportation of large capacity vehicles from Estonia to Kazakhstan

24 Мая 2012
A batch of building rollers arrived by sea from the United States to the port of Paldiski (Estonia), and after loading on a railway rolling stock it was delivered to Central Asia.

In order to deliver 16 building rollers, 4 railway platforms were used. The next batch of construction equipment was transported to the consignee at the end of April.

This example proves one more time the effectiveness of cargo handling through Estonian corridor, and also demonstrates well-established coordination between Estonian railways, Estonian ports and ACEX Estonia.

A wide office network of ACEX Group in all the Baltic States allows to offer ACEX’s clients flexible schedules and terms of delivery. In comparison with road freight, transportation by rail is more suitable option in case it is required to ship a cargo in a limited period of time and with reduced freight costs.

The office of ACEX in Tallinn is focused primarily on multimodal deliveries of containerized cargoes by sea transport, as well as by its own fleet of rail vehicles, to any of the CIS countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Central Asia). In each destination point in the CIS, specialists of the company are providing Customs brokerage services. Clients of the company are interacting with their own logistic manager along the whole logistics route, through a “single window” system.

One of the most promising directions of transit deliveries through the Baltic States today is a regular transportation from Baltic ports to main destinations in Central Asia by train BALTIC TRANSIT:

Alamedin (Bishkek), Kirgyzstan 13 days
